We were fortunate to have Ms. Patricia Lodge attend our membership meeting. She spoke and answered members questions.
First, the wage increase will be on our Sept. 15th or 29th paycheck. The retroactive monies will be appear on our October 27th paycheck. We will have an option for our deferred compensation plans on the retro.
Ms. Lodge also spoke about the recent establishment by NYC for the promotion and open competitive exams for Administrative Manager and Associate Staff Analyst. These exams were taken by many TA Managers.
Other issues brought up to Ms. Lodge were: Disparity of pensions between NYCT and MTA Bus Managers; new evaluation process for MPR’s; Managers making less than titles they supervise; getting leave balances from Timekeeping for Managers not on the automated Kronos system.
